Love birds safari package is a seven days honey moon or couple private safari. It is perfect for honeymooners, accommodation in luxury lodges with an intimate atmosphere. We give you time to explore the Best of Rwanda and your better half. Encountering Rwanda ‘s most known National parks, including the Nyungwe National Park and Akagera National Park.

Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport (KIA)

When you arrive at the Kigali International Airport (KIA), you will be met and picked by an experienced and welcoming driver guide fully dressed in Mahali Africa attire. The driver guide will take you through Kigali’s beautiful scenery as you proceed to your hotel. The maximum journey time from the airport is 30 Minutes to your booked hotel within the capital Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali City Adventure

Your driver guide picks you early in the morning from your hotel to start the tour of Kigali city. You will first be taken to the Kigali Genocide Memorial site located in Gisozi to pay homage and respect to the victims of genocide against Tutsi in which more than one million Rwandans were killed in 1994. The site serves as a beacon of hope as it educates the young people and world over the historical turmoil that culminated in the murder of innocent Rwandans and how to preserve peace and harmony among Rwandans. The driver guide will then take you some recreational centers, restaurants, museums, markets where you will have a chance to do shopping as well as window shop for made in Rwanda products and services. 

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park & Buhanga Sacred Forest Walk

After your breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, our driver guide will drive to the Volcanoes National Park located in Musanze_Northern part of Rwanda which is 2hrs 30 Minutes from Kigali, where all Gorilla trekking activities will begin at 7:00 am. Gorilla trekking includes climbing and hiking as you move closer and watch live gorillas including the younger ones as they soothingly play with each other and give you a lifetime experience. 

Covering 31ha of land, the Buhanga Eco Park is one of the magical Rwanda Safari sites that border Volcanoes National Park. Buhanga Sacred Forest is located in the village of Nyakinama about 8km to the west of Musaze town and its profoundness is not about its beautiful flora but the cultural tradition associated with it.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Today, you will spend your time searching for beautiful golden monkeys in Mt. Sabyinyo. With the guide, you’ll track the monkeys and spend some time with them as they playfully jump from tree to tree through the bamboo forest. Accommodation and meals will be at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel. Other activities may include canoe trips. 

Day 5: Tea Harvesting

PFUNDA tea estate lies within the Virunga volcano in the western province in Rubavu district. PFUNDA tea estate gets its fertile soil from the erupted volcanic soils, which has contributed to the higher tea quality in the region. The PFUNDA tea estate plantation covers over a hundred hectares, where farmers always plant tea. Situated 9km from Rubavu city Centre. 

After breakfast in Musanze, you will enjoy a 1 and half hour tea experience with pfunda Tea Cooperative, going through the whole process of tea making, from harvesting, steaming, shaping, oxidation, drying, enjoying the cup of home-grown tea, and storing left-over tea leaves. After the experience you will be driven to Serena Hotel where you will dine and spend a night. Other activities may include Kayaking and/or Canoeing.

Day 6: Check-out and Departure

Today after your breakfast and check-out, you will be driven back to Kigali International Airport where you will catch your next flight back home.
